The PESB English Language Learner (ELL) endorsement pathway program is a cross-district partnership with the PESB retooling scholarship program and the seven districts of the road map project (Auburn, Federal Way, Highline, Kent, Renton, Seattle, and Tukwila), as well as a university partner to add the ELL endorsement for current teachers. This partnership will focus on creating more ELL endorsed teachers in the road map region meeting an ongoing need of districts for ELL endorsed teachers. In the first year, endorsements will be focused on teachers while in the second year; each of the districts will prioritize administrators/leadership in getting the ELL endorsement.
