Purpose
The paraeducator pilot work group is composed of the pilot grant recipients and PESB staff. The goal of the work group is similar to that of a professional learning community. The members meet several times over the course of the pilot, both in-person and virtual, to discuss their efforts on the implementation of the fundamental course of study and chosen paraeducator certificate. The work group is required to submit a midterm report, early 2019, and a final report, September 2019, on the pilot.
